Lottery lucky for 2 women

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Two Region 8 women are among the latest winners of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

Shabana Jiwani of Jonesboro and Joan Philman of Mountain Home each won $50,000 in the ASL's Neon 200X instant game.

Jiwani first told her son about the win. She says she plans to spend some of her prize on her family.

Philman did not reveal how she plans to spend her cash.

Jiwani bought her winning ticket at Waldenburg Express, 5931 Highway 14 West in Waldenburg. Philman bought hers at White Station #9, 1124 Highway 62 East in her hometown. The retailers will receive a 1 percent commission on each sale.
