Yes, it's true, summer is almost over. But, before you cue up the sad face emoji, here's some good news: there are several incredible events coming up these next few weeks that will help provide an easy transition into fall. Whether you're a fan of food, music, sports, or are all the above there's plenty of opportunities to make the most of season's end.

There have been plenty of highlights so far during the current Hollywood Bowl season, but perhaps the best is yet to come. From a screening of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" with live orchestral accompaniment, an incredible indie lineup of Belle & Sebastian, Spoon, and Kristin Kontrol, to the can't miss one two-punch of jazz superstars Herbie Hancock and Kamasi Washington, there's truly something for everyone.

The famed EDM and hip-hop focused fest is back again in early August! The lineup is filled with heavyweights such as Justice, DJ Snake, and Migos, but the promise of Snoop Dogg performing his magnum opus "Doggy Style" puts this year's HARD Summer into the legendary category. If you're looking for a fully immersive weekend, consider the festival's camping option.

Each year the LA Country Fair steps up its game, offering more thrilling rides and more insane food concoctions. The 2017 edition should prove to be no exception. If you missed this expansive ocean-adjacent fest during Memorial Day weekend, here's a chance to redeem yourself. Fiesta Hermosa has been a local favorite for over 40 years, offering an incredible variety of crafts, food, and live music spread across downtown Hermosa Beach. Now in its 68th year, the Long Beach Greek Festival offers attendees the opportunity to step into a Greek village setting. Dance to traditional Greek music, eat traditional Greek food (the freshly made donut-like loukamathes will satisfy any sweet tooth), and most of all, experience that signature Greek hospitality.

They're back! After a 57-year absence the Chargers make their triumphant return to Los Angeles with Phillip Rivers and crew hoping to turn things around from last year's disappointing 5-11 season. While the team's future Inglewood home remains under construction until 2019, Charger fans have the good fortune of being able to see the Bolts in the relatively intimate confines of the Stubhub Center. The home of the L.A. Galaxy has capacity of only 27,000, which means no matter where you sit, you won't have to worry about catching a nosebleed.
