It's pretty cold in New Hampshire right now.

But one lucky Powerball player will have enough dollars to certainly stay warm.

Saturday night's Powerball jackpot (Jan. 6) was worth more than half a billion dollars - originally $570 million - although lottery officials lowered the grand prize to $559.7 million late Saturday.

Only one ticket matched all six numbers, purchased in Merrimack, New Hampshire. According to New Hampshire Lottery officials, the ticket was bought at Reeds Ferry Market.

The store will receive $75,000 for selling the ticket, according to reports.

The numbers drawn Saturday night, Jan. 6:

12-29-30-33-61 with a Powerball of 26

(and a Powerplay option of 3x).

The $559.7 million prize ranks as the sixth-largest all-time in Powerball jackpots.

No one in Florida matched the first five white balls, which would have been worth at least $1 million. Five tickets, purchased in Connecticut, New Jersey, South Carolina, Texas and Washington, did match the five white balls and each player collected $1 million.

Overall, more than 4 million winners of various prizes totaling $37,199,207 were announced.

Powerball keeps climbing.

The odds of claiming the grand prize (matching all five white balls, between 1 and 69, and the red Powerball, between 1 and 26, are 1 in 292,201,338.00.
