Jan. 19 (UPI) -- A Maryland man claiming a $50,000 lottery jackpot said it was his third big win in as many months -- including a jackpot from the same scratch-off ticket.

The 49-year-old Bel Air man told Maryland Lottery officials he buys scratch-off tickets when the urge strikes, and his recent purchase of a $2,000,000 Fortune game turned out to be a good decision when he won $50,000.

The man said his winning ticket was one of two he bought from the Fallston BP in Harford County.

He said the ticket has proven lucky for him in the past -- he won $50,000 from the same game in November.

"What are the odds of winning again?" the man said when he visited Marylnd Lottery headquarters to collect his latest prize.

The man said he also won $10,000 from a different scratch-off ticket in between his $50,000 wins.

The father of three said he plans to spend his winnings on home renovations and saving for the future.
