The pursuit started in Del City and ended near Pennsylvania and Reno avenues on the west side of the Oklahoma City metro.
Oklahoma City police officials said they performed a tactical vehicle intervention at the intersection, bringing the pursuit to an end and taking two people into custody.
The chase started at Southeast 15th Street and Sunnylane Road in Del City.
Oklahoma City police officials said a gun was found in the vehicle, and a magazine had been thrown from the vehicle during the pursuit.
When the vehicle was stopped, police arrested 34-year-old Deshane Jefferson, who is connected to a shooting incident in Texas last year. He also had a felony warrant for his arrest out of Jackson County in Oklahoma.
According to Jackson County court documents, Jefferson met with a confidential informant in November. Investigators said Jefferson was trying to sell a pistol, and he told the informant that he had used the weapon in a shooting in Wellington, Texas.
Court documents showed Jefferson was convicted of a felony in Jackson County in 2018 and has a known gang affiliation.
