A police pursuit down Interstate 40 on Wednesday resulted in two arrests, with both suspects reportedly connected to crimes in Texas.>> Download the KOCO 5 app | Subscribe to KOCO 5’s YouTube channelThe pursuit started in Del City and ended near Pennsylvania and Reno avenues on the west side of the Oklahoma City metro.Oklahoma City police officials said they performed a tactical vehicle intervention at the intersection, bringing the pursuit to an end and taking two people into custody.The chase started at Southeast 15th Street and Sunnylane Road in Del City.Oklahoma City police officials said a gun was found in the vehicle, and a magazine had been thrown from the vehicle during the pursuit.When the vehicle was stopped, police arrested 34-year-old Deshane Jefferson, who is connected to a shooting incident in Texas last year. He also had a felony warrant for his arrest out of Jackson County in Oklahoma.According to Jackson County court documents, Jefferson met with a confidential informant in November.
