The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $96 million, with a cash option of $42.2 million.
The winning numbers were: 6, 10, 13, 24 and 63. The Mega Ball was 2.
No one across the country hit Friday’s $72 million jackpot. A second-prize, $3 million ticket was sold in Michigan. It matched the first five numbers but not the Mega Ball number.
Friday’s winning numbers were: 15, 37, 38, 56 and 58. The Mega Ball was 19.
The odds of a $5 ticket winning the jackpot were previously 302 million to 1, but on April 8, one Mega Ball was eliminated from the matrix, slightly improving the odds to 290,472,336 to 1.
The odds of winning at least $1 million by matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball are now 1 in 12,607,306, an improvement from the previous odds of 12,629,232 to 1.
The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a prize of at least $10,000 are 893,761 to 1, an improvement over the previous 931,001 to 1.
Mega Millions drawings are held each Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $113 million, with a cash option of $50.7 million.
