A Lotto player came agonisingly close to winning Wednesday's jackpot worth over €3.6 million - but they still managed to bag themselves a hefty sum.
The Lotto player came within just one number of pocketing the life-changing €3,625,417 jackpot after matching five numbers and the bonus.
While the punter may have missed out on the huge cash windfall, they still have plenty of reason to celebrate as they bagged the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €110,928.
The numbers to look out for in Wednesday's (April 16) Lotto draw are: 10, 16, 19, 21, 42, 45 and the bonus number was 25.
The Match 5 + Bonus prize winner isn't the only Lotto player celebrating this evening, as another punter won an incredible €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2.
The punter matched all five numbers plus the bonus to land the mammoth jackpot, with The National Lottery confirming that the winning ticket was sold in Co Dublin.
The winning numbers in Wednesday's Lotto Plus 2 draw were: 07, 32, 33, 35, 39, 46 and the bonus number was 06.
Meanwhile in Wednesday's Lotto Plus 1 draw, where there was a €1m jackpot up for grabs, the numbers called were: 05, 09, 20, 22, 29, 45 and the bonus number was 31.
While nobody managed to scoop the €1m top prize, seven players did match five correct numbers to win a cool €500 each.
There were also 56 winners of the Raffle Prize, with each player receiving €500.
Players across Ireland are now being urged to check their tickets to see if they are among the 56,000 people here who won prizes in tonight's Lotto games.
If you hold a winning ticket that you bought in a shop, you must claim your prize within 90 days of the applicable draw date.
The two six-figure prize winners are advised to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize in Lottery Headquarters.
