DETROIT MUSIC WEEKEND

in Detroit Entertainment District

Several events take place on the days surrounding Detroit Music Weekend, but Saturday is the main event with five stages of live music that includes Detroit-based artists of all stripes. The headliner stage kicks off at 2 p.m. with Craig Brown and continues into the evening with Will Sessions Band, Mark Farner’s American Band, actor and songwriter Jeff Daniels, Complexions Contemporary Ballet and the main event, the Jacksons. Admission is free, but VIP seating is available at detroitmusicweekend.org. The festival is in the Detroit Entertainment District in the area surrounding the Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts, 350 Madison in Detroit.
