2 Mega Millions tickets worth $20K sold in South Carolina
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Two South Carolinians are $20,000 richer after Friday’s Mega Millions drawing!
The South Carolina Education Lottery (SCEL) said a customer at the Publix on Platt Springs Road in Lexington and a customer at the Corner Stop on Hampton Street in Chesnee both won $20,000.
Both ticket holders matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Megaball number, earning them $10,000 which was multiplied by two, as they both purchased the Megaplier option, SCEL continued.
The players missed the multi-million dollar jackpot by one number.
The jackpot for Tuesday is currently estimated at $148 million.
